About Our Presenter: Bev McPhee
Her toughest gig is parenting: five direct reports (3 sons; 2 daughters); three skip-level reports (the amazing granddaughters). And, one long-time canine partner: Gary.
On the side, Bev provides executive leadership expertise for clients across North America. As a former Vice-President of an IBM subsidiary, she cut her teeth on some of the most complex strategic business transformations in Canada. She’s also led PwC’s People and Organization division for western Canada—and still facilitates their national award-winning program for high-performers. In her executive positions, Bev was responsible for up to 500 staff and tackled client business challenges impacting as many as 30,000 employees. (Not nearly as high-risk as leaving five teens home alone with the dog.)
Bev is also an Associate Faculty member at Royal Roads University, where she teaches graduate-level communications, leadership and organizational development. She’s been widely recognized for her contributions in the fields of Technology, Communications, and Strategic Transformation. Bev’s a popular keynote speaker and was nominated for YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award and RRU’s Kelly Outstanding Teaching Award. She travels internationally providing customized corporate programs to senior leaders, and recently won HR.Com’s Award for Best Innovation in Design and Execution for leadership programming in North America.
